What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
It important to me to develop a close relationship with my clients.
The first step for my client is to ask them, ""What type of monthly payment will fit your budget?"
Once we have a monthly payment established, the client and I work as a team to reach the ultimate goal of home ownership.
Being proactive is the best thing I do for my clients.
Verifying all of their information on the front-end of the loan process is the key to making it smooth and pleasant for the client.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
"For first time home buyers, my advice would be to ask any question that pops in your head! There is no such thing as a stupid question! But the most important piece of advice I give my first time home buyers........HAVE FUN!
Yes, it may be a little stressful and you may feel a little lost during the entire process, but you'll want to look back and have a great feeling about your new home."
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
"Documents can be so overwhelming for a client. I make sure I explain to them, in detail, why certain documentation is needed.
This will help them understand how their loan will be approved."
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
"The satisfaction on my client's face at the closing!
Knowing we all worked as a team to achieve their goal of owning a home.
Also, hearing ""We couldn't have done it without you!"""
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
"I was born and raised in a small town a mile long and a mile wide with 5,500 people.
I moved to the big city of Chicago, which has over 2.6 million people.
So I can relate to small town clients and big city clients."
