Been in mortgage for past 12 years. Started my career in banking and branched out to mortgage when I was given the opportunity. I've always been intrigued with business finance.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is a homeowner looking to lower their mortgage payment. Questions they usually ask are "what's the best rate out there?" "How much can I reduce my mortgage payment or reduce expenses?"
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Review their income and assets, confirm current housing expenses, do they have an idea of the approximate estimate of their property value.

What are the pros and cons of a fixed rate mortgage versus an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM)?
Fixed rate benefits long term home ownership. ARM loans are beneficial for customers who foresee selling in the next few 5-7 years.
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Keep all income and asset documents together. Keep an open communication with your loan team.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy time with the family, golfing, fishing
