Over 17 years. I have great satisfaction in helping borrowers to achieve their financing goals.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I deal with all kind of customers and all are interested in improving their financial situation.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I listen to my borrowers. Then, my knowledge of products will guide them to the right loan.
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
I earned the #1 Loan Officer award in 2003 at Millennia Mortgage, one of the top 20 mortgage agents in 2013 and at Lending Tree Loans/Discover Home Loans.
How has the mortgage industry changed since you started, and what would you expect in the future?
Industry has evolved greatly. When I started, second mortgages were done with low income or no income qualifications. Then, subprime, option ARMs and other risky products that led to the financial crisis. I survived it and I am glad of all income qualification changes made in the industy.
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Provide all documents upfront as complete as possible. I like to have all upfront to ensure a smooth process.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
A job well done. Helping borrowers to save money per month or achieve their financial goals.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I work more hours than any of my other colleagues. I have a very international background in finance, stock market, art, real estate and sales.
