How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
I have been in the business for 17 years. My boss, Rob Slovin, encouraged me to get licensed. He has been a great role model and mentor.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
Local buyers and mostly they are concerned with either down payment or monthly payment.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I talk with them getting as much information as possible. Then we go through what would be most important for them....down payment, monthly payment, and rates.
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
There are a lot of steps in getting a mortgage. I am here to walk you through it. I am always here for you, even after you close 6 months down the road. I will make sure you feel absolutely comfortable and I will always be honest.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Providing documentation.......I try to forewarn from the beginning and stay in touch with my clients so they are comfortable.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Traveling and spending time with my family.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I was initially only supposed to work for a year or two when I started with the first mortgage company. Now it has been 17 years!
