How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
Six years, I was inspired to get into it because I saw it as a way I could help people.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
Anyone from the first time homebuyer to the seasoned investor. Typical questions are regarding program guidelines and rates/costs.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I usually start by figuring how much they want to have out of pocket at closing and where they want to be monthly and work from there.
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
6 years, June 2016 I won 3rd place in the Lock N Load contest
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
My advice would be to make sure you buy where you actually want to live as opposed to just trying the get the best deal.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Underwriting/processing. Communication is key here.
Are you active in any local associations or community groups, and at what level? What goals and/or success have you helped these groups achieve?
