Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical customer is a savvy borrower that wants the best rate, and lowest cost mortgage available. We can tailor a product to each individual borrower that fits that borrower's specific needs. That may mean a loan without monthly mortgage insurance, or a program with a shorter term to help them accomplish specific financial goals. It may mean low down payment options, or FHA & VA loan programs. I can also help many borrowers that may have had financial hardships in the past.
Tell us about a mortgage product that consumers may not be aware of?
I have a program that allows borrowers to finance up to 95% of the home purchase price without monthly mortgage insurance. This can lower monthly payments, and give tax advantages to the borrower.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Underwriting guidelines can be very specific, and sometimes daunting to borrowers. My years of experience and product knowledge are an asset in this area. I can streamline the process and give you a clear and easy path to an approval.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
I am most satisfied when I sit with my borrowers at the closing table, and see them receive the keys to their new home. It feels great when they thank me for helping them get an amazing loan product that they can be happy with for many years to come. I know I have accomplished my job when they refer me to their family, neighbors and colleagues. Getting referrals from my clients is truly the highest honor.
