Anthea grew up in Rancho Penasquitos in San Diego with her parents and three siblings. She’s the youngest of four children so nothing phases her. Two of her siblings still live in San Diego, and one is in northern California. She went away for college to University of California, Davis and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences (an emphasis in Molecular Cellular Biology). She then returned to San Diego and tried the manufacturing side of the Bio-technology Industry for a couple years before realizing she had no passion for it. She started from bottom-up as an assistant to learn everything she could. This gave her the knowledge to be able to submit clean files for a smooth transaction. It’s important to know that everything during the loan process requires attention-to-detail and research. Anthea’s background in biology gives her an edge when it comes to details. She’s meticulous and knowledgeable in the field. She will also research various loan programs to find the right fit for her clients because she truly cares for her clients.
Clients have said that she is the most responsive person ever. Purchasing or refinancing is a stressful time for clients, she knows that no response is a bad response. Anthea is passionate about educating and helping people to obtain their financial goals, especially first-time home buyers. She is so passionate about what she does, that she became a CMPS Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist. Mortgage Planning is a huge part of a family’s finances – they need to be prepared for anything.
Although Anthea’s experience is not as lengthy as others, she is able to perform on the same level as them. She is backed by other mortgage professionals that have 20+ years of experience. Anthea will make sure that every client of hers receives the most fantastic customer service possible. She truly believes that every client is like her family, and will fight for them when needed.
In her free time, she spends time with family, friends, and does a handful outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking. She is passionate about cooking and baking as much as she is assisting with home financing. Anthea likes to try new things whenever she isn’t working. There’s always something going on in San Diego. Anthea also spends time volunteering at Feeding San Diego. It’s a great organization that feeds thousands of hungry San Diegans every day. You can donate food, money, and/or your time.
