How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
I've been in the mortgage business 14 years and have 100% customer satisfaction approval rating
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Be sure to understand the area you're looking to move to. I find that 99% of new home buyers have not considered what their properties will be, nor do they realize that taxes, unlike interest rate can increase. Therefore, property taxes are a significant consideration when shopping for a new home
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Most difficult part of the process seems to be the paper trail on large deposits (deposits on money outside of a borrower's payroll) I ask borrowers upfront if they have any large deposits and request all necessary documentation if they do. It's a lot of work but doing this preemptively helps save processing time and ultimately leads to a much quicker clear to close
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Nothing makes me happier than knowing a borrower trusts me to get their loan done. Financing a home is typically a person's largest expenditure and an emotional transaction by default. The mortgage process can be very stressful as borrowers don't understand all the work which goes into getting it done behind the scenes. I do my very best to set expectations upfront and keep the borrower informed at all times.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
