How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
I\'ve been in the mortgage business for about 10 years. I got into the business because I love to help people. I also enjoy the technical nature of the job.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
I would advise first time home buyers to take their time when looking for a home. It\'s one of the biggest and most important investments one makes in his or her life and should not be rushed.
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
In order to ensure a smooth underwriting process, borrowers should be available to provide any documentation that is asked of them by their loan officer in a timely fashion. It\'s also important that all information pertaining to one\'s loan is honestly and completely disclosed upfront at the time of application.
Summary of where you grew up: family, affiliations, college, high school, etc.
I was born in Germany and came to this country at the age of 2. I grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts with my younger brother and sister. I graduated from UMass Lowell with a Bachelor\'s degree in Mathematics and also studied and performed music from the age of 12 years old.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
Along with being a mortgage professional, the one thing that makes me unique is that I genuinely care about people and I always go out of my way to make sure that everyone is treated the way I would like to be treated.
