Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical client is a first-time homebuyer, who will usually have plenty of questions for me since they haven't gone through the home purchase process before. I ensure that my clients are educated about how this works, what to expect and when to expect it, so that they are confident about their decision to purchase.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
For a first-time homebuyer, it can be tricky to find your perfect dream home. On your list of things in a home, try to differentiate between what is a "must-have" versus a "want". Keep in mind that some cosmetic features like carpet can be easily changed, while adding an additional bedroom would consist of considerably more work.
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Provide your full documentation up front. It's always ok to provide more than we need, but providing not enough or omitting things could throw a wrench into the process. Our goal is for you to relax and start planning your living spaces in your new home, knowing that the financing process behind the scenes is running smoothly. So by providing us full documentation up front, we can do exactly that.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
At our core, we are project managers and problem solvers. There's really nothing greater than the smile from a client when they buy their home and we ensured the financing process went smoothly for them.

I own over 500 horror movies on DVD/bluray. I'm a bit of a collector.
