I began my journey in the Residential Mortgage industry in 2002, while attending the University of Florida in pursuit of my B.A. in Finance. After graduating, I relocated to Tampa in 2004 and immediately knew that the Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater area was going to be my new home.
Prior to enrolling at University of Florida, I served 4 years in the United States Air Force from 1993-1997. I was stationed at Eglin AFB in Ft. Walton Beach, FL and was part of the 58th FS/33rd FW and was responsible for maintaining the radar & attack systems on one of the preeminent fighter jets in the world, the F-15! After several deployments to the Middle East I decided that I was finally ready for college and took my talents and honorable discharge with me to Gainesville, FL.
Of the many things that I have learned in the Mortgage Industry there are 2 facts that stand head & shoulders above the rest. The industry is constantly evolving and it is imperative to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to knowledge & resources. The other and most important fact is that there is no better feeling than attending a closing with a new homeowner and witnessing their joy when they finish signing the paperwork and are handed the keys to one of the most important aspects of the American Dream!
When I am not working my interests are incredibly varied and keep me active and busy. I enjoy spending my time with family, friends and 2 pups in and around the water…boating, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or just spending time at the beach soaking in the Florida sunshine. I also enjoy golfing and traveling abroad to soak up different cultures and build on the collection of stamps on my passport from different countries!
I always look forward to the next day and expanding my horizons by adding to the thousands of people that I have helped become homeowners!
