My typical customer is both first time home buyers and experienced home owners. They are mostly concerned with getting the best solution and rate for their situation with the most option available.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
A borrower may have the opportunity to buy well above their budget however comfort level is the most important target to find the best home loan options.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
Large down-payment needed
Need for mortgage insurance and that having Mortgage insurance is not a benefit to them.
too expensive to own a home.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Learning about the future plans of my borrowers and finding the best loan options to accomplish their goals.
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
Back in my younger years I was a professional ski instructor and I remain very passionate about skiing. Most recently I've been hooked on mountain biking and I ride as often as possible. The two sports keep me active outdoors year round.
