I have been in the mortgage industry for 20+ years. I was drawn to the business by its fast pace and constant change. Every client and scenario is different along with constantly changing guidelines. Keeps you on your toes!

I truly enjoy the one on one with clients, providing great personal service, and keeping them informed with financing options to meet their goals. I am proud to be a recipient of the President's Club award and 100% customer satisfaction award.

I am a Chicago native, attended Illinois State University, and currently live on the northwest side of the city. I am an experienced real estate investor, enjoy a nice round a golf, and a long afternoon grilling with friends.

How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
20+ years
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
Clients are all individuals and have their own specific needs and goals. My job is to treat every referral independently.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I ask a lot of questions and do even more listening.
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
I've been in the business for a long time. The award I'm most proud of is a satisfied client completing a smooth financing experience and referring my name.
What are the pros and cons of a fixed rate mortgage versus an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM)?
The product itself isn't important. A mortgage must fit the needs and goals of the clients. I'll ask a lot of questions
Tell us about a mortgage product that consumers may not be aware of?
LPMI--lender paid mortgage insurance--. With the current economy-not everybody can afford to put 20% down to avoid mortgage insurance. LPMI offers and opportunity to put as little as 5% down with NO mtg.Ins. added to your monthly payment and just a small adjustment to interest rate. This is great progaram and can save some borrowers hundreds on a monthly basis.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Understanding the breakdown of all the moving parts. I clearly explain the process, fees, and the players.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
A referral from satisfied client. Than means I did something right!
What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I love the outside. Grilling out is my favorite. FFF--Family, Friends, and Food---doesn't get any better! Count me in for a good round of golf or hanging by the lake. I also volunteer at the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago. Watching the eyes of a kid who just learned how to catch their first ball is priceless!
