What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Smart buyer’s do several important things: create a budget based on their net income (after tax), they connect with experienced professionals, and they research home loan options & the buying process. Buying a home is definitely the biggest, largest, and most expensive purchase we make in our lives….preparation and planning are key to smart purchasing.

Are you active in any fundraising organizations? What goals and/or success have you helped them achieve?
As a mother and a member of the mortgage industry, I feel good donating and telling other’s about Spare Key. Spare Key (Sparekey.org) helps make mortgage payments so parents can remain with their critically ill child in hospital- giving families time together during crisis.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I’m a proven Arachnophobe- if breaking out in a sweat & hyperventilating is a sign of someone with arachnophobia. Yet, I allow my son to have a pet Tarantula, and help him care for it! I’m a believer in facing your fears- especially irrational ones. This new pet has given us lots of good dinner table conversation. She’s tiny now (a spiderling); but will grow to 8”…YIKES! We don’t pet her (him?) I like dogs too.
