I entered the mortgage business at the suggestion of a friend too long ago to mention. It has been a rewarding career in many ways. I enjoy helping people buy their first home, seeing clients grow their families and move up to bigger homes, and also helping retirees that want to down-size. When previous clients return for their next mortgage, I know I have done my job well. Over 50 percent of my business is repeat clients which has allowed me to earn many awards over the years (Five Star Service, Presidents Club, etc.)
I attended Old Dominion University and earned a degree in Economics for Secondary Education. After college I taught and coached football in the public schools for a couple of years. When I bought my first home I was intrigued with the mortgage business for many reasons. After a few conversations I was hooked.
My wife Jamie and I now live in Richmond, VA and will very soon be empty nesters. Our son has chosen a career in the Air Force and my two daughters are finishing up their degrees. Now I have a new best buddy coming along, my 2 year old grandson Parker.
In the spare time I do have I enjoy all sports pertaining to Old Dominion, a diehard Monarch fan I must admit. My wife and I enjoy tennis and I do read up on my history.
