What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
Lots and lots of questions, especially about the end result they're seeking. Many times, clients come to me and tell me they want a certain type of loan--but after a series of questions, we often discover a better way to structure their financing that will put them in a better position for success. My priority is always to help them make decisions that align with their short and long-term goals.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Seeing my clients successfully become homeowners, especially in our very competitive market. I also love to see my clients grow over time--many of them have gone on to renovate their first homes, purchase second homes or investment properties.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
Prior to becoming a mortgage lender, I spent 5 years as a full time Realtor in San Francisco--but before that I actually worked in magazine publishing production & manufacturing for 10+ years. I am an avid gardener & food adventurer. Wacky? I spent 4 months in France as a live-in nanny. My secret skills include intricately efficient dishwasher loading and building fires.
