I determine what is the best financing options to meet my clients long term financial goals.

What are the pros and cons of a fixed rate mortgage versus an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM)?
A fixed rate mortgage is a good option if your are planning on staying in your home a number of years. An adjustable rate mortgage is a good option if you plan on living in your home a short period of time.

I have helped a number of clients with credit issues fix their credit and help them buy their first home.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
You are making the largest financial decision of your life. It is wise to go with an experienced professional mortgage banker versus getting your loan from the internet or from a banker that who doesn't understand the process.
Tell us about a mortgage product that consumers may not be aware of?
1% down conventional mortgage, reverse mortgages. Conventional Lender Paid Mortgage Insurance mortgage options, Competitive Jumbo products. FHA, VA and USDA loans.

It has become very complex and guidelines are changing daily.
That's why its important to work with an experienced loan officer.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Getting requested documents for a pre-approval. Signing documents.

Guidelines have tightened up. It's easy to get a loan from anyone.The internet is where you find the lowest rates.
