Since 1998 It was my intention to help people navigate through the very complicated process of buying a home and provide honest, transparent and professional services.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I have clients from every creed, profession, nationality. Most of my borrowers are self-employed professionals.
The usual questions are: can we get a loan and how long will it take?
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I conduct very extensive interviews to find out about their plans in life.
I always tell them that my job is provide them with options and strategies so they can make an educated decision on the biggest purchase or refinance in their life.

18 Years in business as broker, branch manager and loan originator.
What are the pros and cons of a fixed rate mortgage versus an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM)?
ARM is a perfect product for the short term plans for this property.
Fixed rate is an instrument for long term commitment.
Tell us about a specific challenging borrowing situation and how you got the mortgage closed and funded.
The borrower couldn't qualify for DTI on 95%LTV loan, but after switching to LPMI option was able to get it done. Lowered payment by $120/m.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Find a home of your dream at the payment you can afford.
Make sure you improve your quality of life first and foremost!!

LPMI or Split MI.

Much more regulations. Expect even more regulations.

What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1. They try to apply conventional logic to mortgage guidelines.
2. Interest rate is the most important factor.
3. Financing is more important than picking the right house.

Use a good RE agent in the area.
