I began in the real estate field right out of college. At first it was commercial real estate sales and financing. Fifteen years later I added residential mortgage specialization. Today I'm lucky to work in both arenas successfully and my clients value my depth of experience and knowledge. Being their trusted advisor is my reward.

Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical client has a loan amount between 300k - 3M. They need professional excellence and strategy to optimize their purchase or refinance and often have unique complexities that I am able to handle perfectly. I work very well with professional property investors and clients with complex income structures. I spend the time up-front getting the facts and goals clear. Then execute best game plan.
Tell us about a specific challenging borrowing situation and how you got the mortgage closed and funded.
What if you're self-employed but have an income loss in last two years? How do you get a mortgage? Or, what if you want to do a lease-to-own purchase but need to know how to structure so it is accepted at underwriting? I have closed these types of transactions and many others requiring technical expertise. It's why clients seek me out and refer me!
What resources could you recommend that borrowers use to learn more about the mortgage process and how to ensure a successful home closing?
