Manny has worked as a sole loan officer, had a team of 25+ loan officers, collaborated with builders and has taught mortgage classes for Realtor offices over the years. He brings a wealth of knowledge to clients and Realtor referral partners, financial advisers, etc.

Manny enjoys helping the first time home buyer or the investor who buys and sells homes for a living. They are both equally important to him. He educates borrowers throughout the loan process so that they can fully understand their options.

Being fully bilingual in English and Spanish has allowed him to broaden his reach and help more people achieve the dream of home ownership. Born and raised in Miami he has established many relationships in the local community with business leaders and civic organizations.

Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
There really isn't a typical buyer. I look at every borrower's approval as a unique situation. A first time home buyer may have different questions than a seasoned investor.However,throughout my 17 years as a loan officer I have noticed that most clients have questions related to the funds required to purchase a home including the closing costs and what the monthly payment will be. How long will the process take is another big one. I always like to answer all these questions accurately on our initial conversation to set realistic expectations and thus have a successful closing.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
The top 3 most common misconceptions people have about the home loan process are. 1 . You need to have an excellent credit score or you will not qualify for a loan. You really don't need to have an excellent score to buy a home. There are programs for people with less than perfect credit. 2. You need 20% down payment in order to purchase a home. We offer products where you can purchase with as little as 3% down. 3. You need to make a sizable income in order to qualify. A clients debt plays a big role in this, so this is also a misconception. I'd like to sneak in a fourth misconception. Buying a home is a painstaking event. Not at all. We will work diligently to make it as smooth as possible as well as memorable experience.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
Whether its a first time home buyer, newly weds, someone purchasing a second home or an investor trying to accomplish their financial goals, it's always great to see that the plan we set on our initial meeting comes to fruition. Knowing that my team and I came through for our clients is an AMAZING feeling. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction when a past client refers someone to me. Knowing that they had enough trust in me to refer a family or friend or when they call me 10 years later to purchase another property is extremely rewarding.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I started in the mortgage industry working part-time, while employed as a top sales producer for a Fortune 500 company. I began helping a friend who was in the mortgage business at open houses and nights. Soon after starting I realized that is was my calling a resigned from my full-time job to become a full-time loan officer, and have never looked back. Looking back it has been awesome and I am looking forward to what's to come. I truly enjoy helping other and assisting someone purchasing a home is no exception.
