Tell us about a specific challenging borrowing situation and how you got the mortgage closed and funded.
Recently had a refinance client that was paying over $5,900 a year in flood insurance. She had self certified her elevation parameters when she closed on her purchase in 2010 and I realized that she had to be overpaying. So I called the County Flood Plan Manager and he sent out a crew, which performed an elevation certificate for her for free (thanks Henrico County) and when she turned in the new data to FEMA, her annual premium went down to $583.

What do you enjoy doing most in your spare time when you are not helping people with their home loans?
I enjoy playing tennis with my daughter, hiking in the mountains, golf, going to the beach, Bikram Yoga and Soccer.
