How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
Been in this since 2003. My love of the financial world got me into this.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
Anyone who wants the most cost effectively structured mortgage!
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I do a pretty thorough interview with my clients upfront to discover what their needs are, and how best to satisfy them.
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
I have been in the business since 2003 (my whole adult life!)
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Get together face to face with a good quality lender like us so everyone is on the same page.
How has the mortgage industry changed since you started, and what would you expect in the future?
It has never been more difficult to qualify for a loan. The qualifications today are an exact 180 of what they were in 2003. I would expect things to remain as they are for the next several years.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
1- That we would judge your credit/assets/income and make you feel like less of a person... 2- That a closing can happen overnight 3- That we are not on your side...!
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Stay on tops of your emails! There are many things that come up throughout a process, especially in this day and age. We will work with you to ensure things go smoothly!

I grew up in Greendale, WI and attended UW-Milwaukee. I currently live three miles from my childhood home!

Seeing peoples dreams come true!
