Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My typical buyer’s fall into the FHA or VA side of lending. I am not just a Vet, I have used my VA home buying benefits too. I understand what the family is going through during the process.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
In my experience, I would tell first time home buyers to ask as many questions as the need too. If it comes to mind, ask it. This is their first home but as their trusted mortgage professional it is my job to see that they understand the process and are comfortable every step of the way.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
With the types of loans most first time home buyers will use, FHA and or a down payment assistance program, the documentation needed can seem excessive. I walk them through the process and explain to them why each document is needed.
