About Ron

I am a second generation Mortgage Banking professional. I started in the Mortgage Lending field in May of 1983 after graduating with a Business degree in Real Estate and Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California.

Born and raised in Los Angeles and the proud father of two. We are a sports-oriented family that enjoys all sports from participating, coaching, and just being spectators. College football is by far the family favorite, FIGHT ON!

A favorite pastime of mine is announcing high school football and basketball games.

How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
I started in 1983 and am a second generation Mortgage Professional. I was inspired to get into the mortgage business because no day is ever the same.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I provide clear, concise, and transparent information to my customers and clients. In this complex world of finance, the client needs to have as much information as possible.
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
I am now in my 34th year and have been fortunate enough to have won many production awards along with some community service acknowledgements while working as mortgage banker.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
The advice I like to give new or first time home buyer is to do the research, ask questions, gather information, and learn about the responsibilities of home ownership. "Homeownership is not a right but a privilege."
What can borrowers do to insure a smooth mortgage underwriting process?
Be prepared and understand that the mortgage industry has changed and that full disclosure and verification of all income, assets, and credit is essential for a smooth home loan process.
What provides you with the most satisfaction in your job as a Loan Officer?
There is nothing better than informing a borrower that their loan has funded and closed. This is especially true when working with first time homebuyers or past clients who trust me with, typically, the biggest financial transaction of their life.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
My memory and recall is what makes me unique. There is very little that I forget about a past transaction or something that I have read or heard. Once something is put to memory it is always there as a resource for the future.
