How long have you been in the mortgage business and what inspired you to get into it?
I have been in the Mortgage Industry for 10 years and was exposed to the business through my family.
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
I work with all walks of customers, from First Time Home Buyers to seasoned investors and people trying to save for their future.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I usually like beginning with the end in mind and when that happens I believe I can better serve the needs of my clients with the options available to them through their mortgage.
How has the mortgage industry changed since you started, and what would you expect in the future?
Technology and licensing has shaped the way everyone in our business operates and if you are unable to keep up with those 2 key elements then you are failing to deliver to your clients the type of service they deserve.
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
I believe the most difficult process is understanding what is most important to you as a home owner. I always ask my clients to focus on the Top 3 things most important to them because everyone is different and so are the mortgages they apply for.
Are you active in any local associations or community groups, and at what level? What goals and/or success have you helped these groups achieve?
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and I currently serve on the Board of the DC Chapter. We are looking forward to raising as much as we can for our DC Walk, Gala and Commercial Real Estate Games.
Tell us something that makes you unique or something wacky, yet interesting about you?
I have personally witnessed an unassisted triple play on a baseball field.
