In my previous career I helped people improve quality of life physically, now, I help them improve quality of life financially
Who is your typical customer and what questions do they typically have?
My Typical customer is someone looking for a home or a new one. The questions are always about how I can help them make the process easier.
What specific steps do you use to help your customers find the best home loan for them?
I evaluate their complete needs and wants and their current financial position to help them make the right choices
How long have you been in the mortgage business? What awards have you won?
17 year in the business. I have been in the President's Club many years and was Awarded the Spirit of Lending Tree Award for the Highest customer service and conversion in a network of over 6000 Loan officers
What are the pros and cons of a fixed rate mortgage versus an adjustable rate mortgage (ARM)?
The Fixed rate never changes. No Surprises. It is generally a little higher than an ARM, but if you know how long you will be in a home an ARM could be the perfect solution.
Tell us about a specific challenging borrowing situation and how you got the mortgage closed and funded.
We had a Customer going though a tough divorce. I was able to step in and assist in the recording of the decree and allow my customer to complete their purchase for her and her cheildren.
What advice would you give new or first time home buyers?
Get your Pre-Approved first. That way you understand the right purchase price and all of your credit profile and how it effects you and your purchase.

How has the mortgage industry changed since you started, and what would you expect in the future?
There have been many changes in the mortgage market over the years since I first started. The biggest challenge is verifying the movement of funds to close. Simply understanding those changes makes it easier for a client to buy with less stress. I can help explain those steps
What part of the home loan process do customers find most difficult and how do you help them through it?
Customers have the most trouble with qualifying guidelines and debt ratios. I help them understand what that is in simple terms and show them how it effects the loan process.
What are the top 3 misconceptions people have about the home loan process?
Renting is better than owning, I can afford to buy and, my credit is no good are the 3 biggest missconceptions about buying a home.

Zillow, Trulia and my web site are all they need.

My children are Freshman in High School. I have boy-girl twins and they are active in sports. We are always traveling for their events.
