About Me

  • Mark Neuman is Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Guaranteed Rate and is based in The Manhattan Division’s midtown office. He began his career in the mortgage industry at Marc One Capital, a top-flight NYC mortgage brokerage. “This is where I discovered the value of personal integrity and service in a business that too often focuses on the numbers…and that’s how I’ve been doing business ever since.”
  • It took Mark less than a year to become the top producer in the firm, a feat he credits to product knowledge, out-of-the-box thinking and the fact that he was an enthusiastic student of the industry. These strengths, combined with his natural affinity with people and solid communication skills, allowed him to succeed early, which only fueled his appetite for continued growth in the industry. This success led Mark to Approved Funding Corporation, a significant mortgage bank with a national scope and a huge breadth of products and solutions for his clients. His initial position was as a Branch Manager in the Long Island office. In 2005, his branch was named Branch of the Year and in 2006, he was recognized as Manager of the Year. During those years and beyond, he played a key role in the growth of the company, emerging as a leader in product expertise and the use of informative seminars to attract new business.
  • Mark ultimately decided, however, that he enjoyed the interaction in a one-on-one setting, and the difference he could make in the lives and businesses of the people who had come to him for help. So after continuing a year or two focusing solely on mortgage originations, he decided in November 2009 to join Wells Fargo Home Mortgage to further advance his career – and the incredible success that he had in the past few years speaks for itself.
  • His most recent awards and recognition include the following: 2012 - Over $50 Million in closed loans, and among top 10 in entire Long Island market for both loan transaction and loan volume; 2011-2012 - Among highest in all of North East region in loan file quality; 2011-2012 - Among highest in all of North East in Customer satisfaction; Among top 15 in entire Long island 2 years in a row for purchase transactions; One of hand selected loan officers to work with Wells Fargo Advisor clients; Was a top producing Originator for the WFA channel; Highly regarded in many markets with realtors, attorneys, CPA’s, and Financial Advisors; Hand selected from upper management to coach and offer advice to entire region regarding best practices to ensure customer experience and high level of loan quality.
