Guaranteed Rate Named Million Dollar Lender by US Department of AgricultureJul 22 2015
CHICAGO – Guaranteed Rate, one of the ten largest retail mortgage lenders in the U.S., has landed the Million Dollar Lender- 2014 Silver Level Award from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development. This recognizes the development of Guaranteed Rural Housing (GRH) program for utilizing over $1 million of loan funds for home purchasing in 2014.
Guaranteed Rate’s initiatives have contributed to the President’s goal of growing America’s rural economy. Working together with the USDA, more than $414.5 million in GRH funding was delivered to Wisconsin homeowners, resulting in over 3,200 home purchases. The program allows low and moderate-income households the opportunity to own adequate and safe residences.
