    Victor Ciardelli Wins Entrepreneur of Year

    Ernst & Young LLP announced that Victor Ciardelli, CEO of Guaranteed Rate Inc. , America’s Fastest Growing Mortgage  Company , received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2012 award in the Financial Services category in the Midwest Region.  The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.  Ciardelli was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the ward was presented at a special gala on June 21, 2012 at the Hilton Chicago Hotel.  Guaranteed Rate was one of few financial services companies that were represented in this category.

    As a Midwest award winner, Ciardelli is now eligible for consideration for the National Entrepreneur Of The Year 2012 Award.  Award winners in several national categories, as well as the National Entrepreneur Of The Year Overall Award Winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California, on November 17, 2012.  The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-profile, market-leading companies.
