Where Are Home Prices Rising?Aug 31 2012
Last week, the Federal Housing Finance Agency showed that US home prices had the largest quarterly increase since 2005, rising about 3% since this time last year. While that number may seem insignificant, you need to keep in mind the past several years where we saw constant declines quarter after quarter.
The metro areas that have experienced the biggest jumps in home prices include Miami, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Tampa. The top three states in the US whose home prices increase the most in the last 12 months are Arizona, Idaho and Florida.
